SEPTEMBER 14, 2021 - The JOHN M. LANGSTON BAR ASSOCIATION’s Twenty-Ninth (29th) Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm at the CONFERENCE ROOM located in Playa Vista, California. The cocktail hour is from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm and the ceremony will begin promptly at 12:30 pm. Each year this event is held to celebrate its legacy and honor legends in the legal profession who have been in practice and contributed to community service for at least thirty-five (35) years, says Hall of Fame Co-Chairpersons Anne Saxton and Margo Bouchet. This year’s honorees are Victor Anderson III, Esq., Winston Kevin McKesson, Esq., Honorable Erithe A. Smith and the Honorable Patricia J. Titus. The Master of Ceremonies for the event is Kente Scott (comedian/actor/writer/producer). The theme for this year’s ceremony is “Celebrating Our Legacy,” says Nyanza Shaw, President of the John M. Langston Bar Association. The mission of the John M. Langston Bar Association is to empower leadership, advance the professional development of its membership, and promote the administration of justice in the Black community and the community at large.
