(Nashville, TN) Four-time Grammy winning instrumentalist Andy Leftwich and his wife Rachel are thrilled to announce the release of their new Gospel album, In Christ Alone. The 13 song collection highlights a few of their favorite hymns and songs that have touched their lives and features special guests Ricky Skaggs, The Whites, Ben Rochester, Becky Rochester Matthews, Rob Ickes and more.
Andy Leftwich was a member of bluegrass instrumental super group, Kentucky Thunder, playing alongside the legendary Ricky Skaggs for nearly 16 years. It was during that time he met his wife, Rachel, daughter of Cheryl White of celebrated country and bluegrass family band, The Whites. Andy and Rachel toured together as part of A Skaggs Family Christmas for 13 years and produced and arranged together on Directions Home: Songs We Love, Songs You Know in 2014 for award winning Christian vocal group Point of Grace. Stepping out on their own for the first time, In Christ Alone celebrates their combined musical heritage while simultaneously reflecting their own ministry and vision.
