GEICO - 100 Black Men of America, Inc. Announce Partnership

Atlanta, GA – February 12, 2021 –100 Black Men of America, Inc. is proud to announce a new corporate partnership.  GEICO and 100 Black Men of America, Inc. have joined forces to positively impact communities.    The support provided by GEICO will aid the 100 in enhancing its organizational mission and focus on – Mentoring, Education, Health and Wellness, Economic Empowerment and Leadership Development.  

The partnership supports the 100’s leadership development programs.  One component is the creation of the GEICO – Collegiate 100® Career Development Program, a program designed to create a diverse and robust pipeline of highly qualified students for internship and early career employment programs.  The second partnership component focuses on other national leadership development programs that support youth, young professionals and those interested in enhancing their leadership skills and who seek leadership roles. 

In an effort to be strategic in their approach, their partnership is aligned with GEICO’s commitment to diversity, inclusion and to developing leaders who will serve not only GEICO as team members but also their communities.    According to Carl A. Tims, vice president and chief diversity officer for GEICO, “We are committed to making a difference in the communities where our associates work and live. This partnership aligns well with that mission and our diversity and inclusion strategy. We look forward to welcoming those students to the GEICO family.”

100 Black Men was founded as an organization in New York City in 1963.
