Dr. Dorfman’s Education & Training
Dr. Dorfman first earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychobiology and then went on to earn his degree in Dentistry from the University of California. He then decided to pursue a degree in medicine and enrolled in the University of California, where he received his medical degree. His hard work and skill achieved him a spot in the highly competitive Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at the University of California in San Francisco. After completing his full residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at UC Davis, he ended his surgical training with a fellowship in craniofacial surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the world-renowned Stanford University.
Dr. Dorfman’s Accomplishments
Dr. Dorfman went on to use his years of training and compassionate heart for service to be a Fellow for Operation Smile, a charitable organization dedicated to performing medical interventions including cleft lip and palate surgeries for children in Mexico, Nicaragua, and India living in impoverished conditions. For months, he also dedicated his time, training, and expertise to underprivileged children in the great Los Angeles area suffering from cleft and craniofacial issues. His years of service have helped him establish himself as a hardworking, talented, compassionate, skilled, and trustworthy surgeon. When not in the operating room, Dr. Dorfman can be found running outside in his beautiful Southern California neighborhood or enjoying time with his three children.
