With over a decade of professional experience in the legal field, Augusta has certainly proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field. As a dynamic, results-driven leader, Augusta has demonstrated success not only as an Attorney, Speaker and Published Author, but in every role she has held. Her impressive repertoire of roles have included clerking for the Office of General Counsel at the Tennessee Board of Regents and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, respectively, serving as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Judge George W. Emerson, for the United States Bankruptcy Court, Western Tennessee, acting as Senior Associate for Anthony A. Zmaila Limited PLLC., working as In-House Counsel for MaySept Healthcare Services, and teaching as a Professor in Legal Environment/ International Business Law for the College of Southern Nevada and Business Law/Business Ethics for the University of Fort Lauderdale. As Managing Attorney of Massey & Associates Law Firm, PLLC, her areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: Business Law, Bankruptcy, Business Formation, Foreclosure Mediation, Litigation, and Contracts. In addition to being a small business owner, Augusta is appointed by the Nevada Supreme Court as a foreclosure mediator.
Aside from her successful career as a Professor and Attorney, Augusta is a sought-after speaker and invited guest on several podcasts, radio and television shows. She was honored as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Las Vegas (3 consecutive years), a Top 40 Under 40 by Vegas, Inc. and recognized as 1 of 15 Women in Business and Politics by the Urban Chamber of Commerce in 2019.
