Durham Private Equity firm funds audio technology firm, Instamic
Black Wall Street Investments, LLC, a Durham, NC Private Equity firm announced today that it will fully fund the seed funding round of Sillicon Valley audio technology start-up, Instamic. Instamic produces a professional grade wireless microphone device than can record for up to five hours, is waterproof, omni-directional, and can replace 100 of pounds of audio recording equipment.

Instamic can do for audio recordings what Go Pro did for cameras” said Chris Shella, CEO of Black Wall Street Investments. “I think it will follow the path of Beats by Dre and be a household name in three years.” In addition to the firm’s investment, Mr. Shella, will join the board of directors of Instamic as Vice Chairman. COO Eric Williams added that” looking at their margins, their positioning of their product and its ability to dominate their market, investing in Istamic was a no-brainer.”
Instamic began funding its enterprise via gofundme.com, raising over 500% percent of their goal. With the initial $400,000.00 raised, they completed the development process and have a device that is ready to hit the market. “It is unheard of for a company to have a product ready for sale at the seed round, but Instamic has done it. We are thrilled to invest in them and to get this device out to the public”, said Shella.
