Blake Schroeder, CEO for Kannaway® was recently selected as Top CEO of the Year for his outstanding leadership, creativity and dedication to the sales and marketing industry.
While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations and contributions to their communities. With nearly two decades of professional experience in Sales, Marketing and International Business Development, Mr. Schroeder has certainly proven himself as a highly qualified professional and expert in the field. As a dynamic results-driven leader, Mr. Schroeder has demonstrated success not only as CEO for Kannaway®, but in every position he has held. He has significant executive-level experience in multiple international sales organizations. His impressive repertoire of prior roles includes: COO for ForeverGreen International, Senior Vice President of European and Middle Eastern Marketplaces at Monavie, Vice President of North America at Monavie, in these roles he grew Monavie’s European market and served in various positions. As a lawyer, he served as an Associate at Berman and Savage P.C.
Currently, Mr. Schroeder is the CEO of Kannaway, LLC, which is a network sales and marketing company that specializes in the sales and marketing of hemp-based botanical products. His key areas of expertise are international team development, maximizing financial performance, multifunctional collaboration, brand marketing, product licensing, strategic planning and execution, communications, negotiation, direct selling, pricing, market growth and strategy implementation. Since Mr. Schroeder became the CEO for Kannaway it’s revenues have grown from 2 million in annual sales to nearly 70 million in annual sales.
Before embarking on his professional career path, Mr. Schroeder attended Utah State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance in 2002. Furthermore, he received a Doctorate of Law in 2006 from Syracuse University College of Law. Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Schroeder has been active in his community and recognized for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. For 2020, he is being considered for a feature article in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and for the Business Innovator of the Year Award by IAOTP. Also, for 2020, he was selected as “Top CEO of the Year” by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) and will be honored at IAOTP’s Annual Awards Gala being held at the Plaza Hotel in NYC. In 2019, he received the Gold Award for the International Executive of the Year from the Business World Golden Bridge Awards as well as a Silver International Stevie Award in Vienna for Executive of the Year – Healthcare Products and Services. Other awards for Mr. Schroeder in 2019 included a Bronze Award for Executive of the Year – Small Companies from the Best in Biz Awards and Small Business Executive of the Year in the Life Sciences, Health, Wellness, and Nutrition category from Business Intelligence Group's BIG Awards for Business.
Looking back, Mr. Schroeder attributes his success to his perseverance, mentors with whom he has had the honor of working alongside and his positivity. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. For the future he will continue to provide people with the knowledge about hemp-based products for health and wellness.
