As EWF’s business and service offerings have evolved, Bold Entity strived to create a site that could better reach women looking to be empowered and drive improved performance for their companies.
“Before we started on the look of the site, we studied EWF’s ideal client profiles,” said Valerie Jimenez, founder and CEO of Bold Entity. “That allowed us to optimize the site and tailor it to fit multiple user journeys.”
Bold Entity’s internal team also worked to understand the search patterns and emotional triggers of EWF’s target audiences, leading to keywords that better match how they search for services.
By studying their direct competition, Bold Entity was also able to create an improved user experience while keeping search engine optimization (SEO) best practices in mind.
The website also features original photography created in collaboration with Bri Crow Photography that sought to capture the spirit and connective potential of EWF’s peer advisory forums. Instead of stock imagery, these photos lend authenticity and credibility to this online experience.
“They're extremely talented at the visual aspect of the website,” says Tanis Cornell, CEO of EWF International. “Everything from the layout to the graphic design had the look and feel we were going for.”
The storytelling on the site also includes a 4-minute video that explains EWF’s mission and offerings, as well as testimonials from women whose careers have been positively impacted by the organization.
“They have a process where they really walk you through things and define your message and target audience,” said Cornell. “It's a valuable process for smaller to mid-sized companies who don't have the marketing capabilities to do internally.”
In the first week since launch, organic site traffic is already up 25% over last year. Those numbers are expected to be enhanced over time and lead generation will increase thanks to enhanced search engine rankings.
