Norwall PowerSystems announced a Briggs and Stratton 12kW Home Standby Generator promotion beginning September 18. The promotion covers all 12,000-watt Symphony II home backup generators with or without an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS.) Norwall (www.norwall.com) listed the lower prices in their online catalog. The nationwide promotion runs September 18 through September 25, 2019.
The 12,000 Watt Briggs & Stratton Generators include the Symphony II Power Management System. Symphony II allows a smaller and more fuel-efficient generator to supply the same loads as a larger, more costly generator by operating heavy loads in a prioritized sequence. Higher priority loads like central air conditioners run before a lower priority load such as an electric dryer.
Briggs and Stratton 12 kW Standby Generators make a permanent connection to the main circuit breaker panel with an automatic transfer switch. The ATS switches to generator power during an outage and returns the house to utility power after electric company crews restore power. Standby generators can supply an entire home with electrical power, or only the most critical loads selected at installation.

Also included in the promotion are the Briggs and Stratton 40532 with 100-Amp 16-Circuit ATS and the 12 kW 40517 Generator.
