Briotix Health, the industry-leading provider of workforce performance optimization solutions, will deliver a presentation at the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN) national conference outlining five steps to creating an effective external partnership to improve employee musculoskeletal health.
Donna Hoctor, Client Manager at Briotix Health, will lead the session, Five Steps to Creating an Effective Ergonomic Partnership to Reduce Employee Injuries and Maximize Resources, on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at 7:30 a.m. During the presentation, attendees will learn the critical elements of an early intervention program and how best practices provide time-savings for occupational nurses and cost-savings for the company’s bottom line.
“Research indicates that nearly 70% of the workforce experiences pain or discomfort daily when completing work-related tasks,” said Hoctor. “Organizations are now starting to think proactively about addressing this pain and discomfort by partnering with outside industry experts to create injury prevention programs. What we’ve found is that organizations who are proactive in addressing musculoskeletal injuries experience lower worker injury claims, improve presenteeism, and reduce the workload for the on-site nurse.”
Conference attendees are encouraged to visit Donna and the rest of the Briotix Health team at booth #211 to learn about how Briotix Health’s Industrial Sports Medicine™ tools leverage injury prevention solutions in a purposeful way to reduce the individual and organizational costs of musculoskeletal disorders.
