Industry-Disrupting Device Now Available for Pre-Orders
Richmond, Virginia-based Connected Solutions Group (CSG) introduced the Mini version of their groundbreaking Mobile Command Center (dubbed the MCC Mini). For customers not requiring all the features of CSG’s full-size MCC, the MCC Mini offers a revolutionary connectivity solution within the smallest form factor on the market.
The Verizon network-exclusive MCC Mini includes a custom-built, laboratory and field tested, high-gain antenna system built directly into its lid which was engineered in a partnership with Parsec Technologies. The internal antenna eliminates a major pain point with traditional paddle and stick antenna solutions that reside outside of deployable kits.
The standard router included within the device is a ruggedized Cradlepoint IBR900. This router gives remote web-based access to all key configurations, reliable VPN functionality, enterprise-grade security, and up to 128 individual simultaneous WiFi connections while taking advantage of custom mounting hardware designed to eliminate the risk of overheating. Powered by a self-contained 11,000 mAh battery system, the device will supply ample power for extended deployments. A unique solar charging option is available to extend deployment timelines even further.
The MCC Mini features a military spec IP67 ruggedized case that is weatherproof, rustproof, and drop-tested while being fully-functional even when closed and locked. Weatherproof external ports give access to USB data, WAN/LAN and power buttons. The unit dimensions are only 12” x 9” x 5” and it weighs just 6 lbs. Custom branding is available with customer logos embossed on both the exterior and interior of the device.
CSG is currently accepting pre-orders for the MCC Mini and beta testing feedback has shown outstanding performance and significant interest within the industry. In a market analysis amongst other deployable solutions, the MCC Mini has an MSRP far below that of bulkier options from competitors.
