All About Dr. Sandra Margoles, M.D.
As an undergraduate, Dr. Margoles studied biochemistry at Trinity College in Hartford, CT, before achieving her master's degree in neuroscience and psychology. She went on to work as a clinical neuropsychology associate. Dr. Margoles served as a key lecturer at the Yale University School of Medicine and the University of Connecticut Health Center before continuing her education at Dartmouth Medical School.
It was during her studies in general surgery at Harvard Medical School that Dr. Margoles discovered her passion for plastic and reconstructive surgery. Her inspiration for this change of focus was the possibility of improving the lives of her patients:

Dr. Margoles has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, research grants, and honors, as well as becoming one of the original investigators into the use of laser for skin resurfacing during her postdoctoral research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. After finishing her training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City in 1999, she opened her private practice and has since thrived, providing excellent plastic and cosmetic procedures using the most advanced techniques in her community. She truly is a pioneer of her field and continues to contribute incredible advancement to her practice and profession.
When Dr. Margoles isn’t enjoying a leisurely horseback ride, spending time in the Berkshires, MA, or spending time with her dog Jackson, she works closely with her Fairfield and Westchester County-based patients to help them achieve their desired appearance.
