Don Oriolo is an American artist, musician, and writer best known for his work in the music publishing industry and for overseeing the Felix the Cat cartoon franchise after his father, Felix co-creator Joe Oriolo, died in 1985.
After many years Don Oriolo is currently working on new music under his oldest original Label Zazoo Records.
Zazoo Records houses artist such as soon to debut pop recording artist Qeuyl and the legendary Rick Wakeman. From the age of Disco to New School HipHop Zazoo Records has a release catalog of many of music histories legends.
In 2019 Don Oriolo teamed up with life long friends Master Guitarist Chris Bolger, Award-winning producer and composer Jason Gleed and Legendary Director Dan Karlok to record his third Studio Album Another Day To Be Happy
Aside from his Music career Don Oriolo gives many local Bands a chance to perform at his latest attraction The Blue Arrow Farm as we as his new WaWayanda music on the farm fest with over sixty bands and counting in a total of three days WaWayanda is scheduled to be one of the biggest music festivals on the east coast to date
Don Oriolo has been a secret figure in the world of music, from being the main force behind the legendary music festival Woodstock, to signing Meatloaf, Lisa Lisa and The Cult, Jam, Madonna, Charlie Day and many more prominent figures in the entertainment world - not to mention his role in the legal side of the music industry.
Don Oriolo also owns and operates the Oriolo Guitar Company, a guitar, bass, and ukulele manufacture company whose products often feature Felix and other Oriolo designed artwork. Oriolo has also authored several books featuring his paintings of Felix the Cat, whom he describes as his creative muse.
