DOYO Live’s 2019 keynote speaker will be Joe Pulizzi, founder of the Content Marketing Institute and producer of Content Marketing World in Cleveland, Ohio, the largest content marketing event in the world. Pulizzi is no stranger to Youngstown, having been keynote speaker during the first DOYO Live conference. Since then, Pulizzi, who’s recognized as the godfather of modern-day content marketing, has published the best-selling book Killing Marketing, which builds off his previously published Content Inc. and Epic Content Marketing.
More than four years ago, conference founder, Dennis Schiraldi thought he had a pretty good idea to host a marketing conference in his hometown of Youngstown, Ohio.
“I was coming home from speaking at a marketing conference in Rochester, Minn.,” says Schiraldi. “After a really long day of traveling, being away from my family and realizing the amenities we had here in Youngstown, Ohio, it was just enough motivation to say, ‘I believe we can do this in Youngstown.’”
For that first conference, the idea was to attract 150 people and 220 attended. Since then, the conference has taken off, with more than 800 participants in the first three years. In 2019, DOYO Live will return bigger, stronger, and with a new venue, in addition to new speakers, workshops, and sponsors.

DOYO Live will be held at the historic Youngstown landmark, Stambaugh Auditorium on Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18, 2019. Parking is right on site, and the cost of the conference includes lunch in addition to free swag. Many local experts who present at some of the largest, most prestigious conferences in the country will be sharing what they know, including Jeff Leo Herrmann, Deanna Fusillo, Ross Morrone, newcomers Gabriella Schiraldi, Maria Stevens, Hillary Smith, and many more.
