Dr. Anne Lee selected as Most Influential Cyber Architect of the Year by IAOTP

Dr. Anne Lee, Raytheon Engineering Fellow and Air Force Association Schriever Fellow was recently selected as Most Influential Cyber Architect of the Year for 2022 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).


While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) is an honor, choosing the Top 20 Most Influential Members of the Year comes with great purpose, admiration, and respect.  These members inspire others, show gratitude, bring people together and have helped people feel connected to one another. With their service they have displayed innovative leadership practices, pushed others towards success, and made sure their voice left an impact. Dr. Lee has superior performance in her field, she is passionate about her work and holds high morals and integrity in all she does. IAOTP will honor her for this distinction at their Annual Awards Gala being held at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas this December.

Dr. Lee is one of the Most Influential Cyber Architects of her time. She recently retired from the United States Air Force. Dr. Lee remains active in her field and is currently working at Raytheon Company as an Engineering Fellow. She completed several innovative research and technology demonstrations including Deep Learning Weapon Classifications, Maneuver Hypersonic Missile Detection and Tracking, and Super Intelligence Hypersonic Weapon Kill Chain. 


Dr. Lee is nationally recognized as a rapid acquisition expert, her skill set also includes military operations, Department of Defense policy writing, private industry satellite development, advanced radio frequency/radar technology and advanced electro-optical/laser- phased array technology.


Throughout the entirety of her extraordinary career, she has shown outstanding leadership not only as Chief of Cyber Architecture but in every position she has ever held.  Her remarkable prior roles have included, Avionic Engineer and New Business Development Manager with Northrop Grumman, Senior Sensors and Communications Engineer with the Boeing Company, and Senior Radar System Engineer and Antenna Designer with Raytheon Company.


Before embarking on her current career path, Dr. Lee earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and her Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University.  She did post graduate work at the California Institute of Technology where she earned a Master of Science in Engineering and then attended Walden University where she received a Doctor of Philosophy in Management.  Last year Dr. Lee completed her studies with the Air War College, accepting a Master of Science in Military Strategic Leadership and National Security Studies.  She is certified in Level III Systems Engineering and Level II Program Management by the Defense Acquisition University. Dr. Lee is also certified in Defense Cybersecurity and risk management framework by the Pentagon and Department of Defense and in engineering and technical management by the California Institute of Technology.


Dr. Lee has received numerous awards, accolades and was also recognized globally for her unique skills and commitment to the profession. This year she will considered for an exclusive interview on T.I.P. Radio and for a featured article in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine. Dr. Lee was acknowledged as Cyber Architect of the Decade for 2021 and she received the Empowered Woman of the Year award in 2020 from the International Association of Top Professionals. She was named Top Cyber Architect of the Year for 2019 by IAOTP and she also received the AFA Schriever Fellow in December 2019. In 2018, she received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and has been in numerous editions of Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in American Women.  Dr. Lee received the Silicon Beach Innovation Award in Internet of Things to Future of Cyber-Physical Systems, the Space and Missile Systems Center Quarterly Award, the Raytheon Spotlight Award, and the Meritorious Service Award from NASA JPL Space Exploration.


In addition to her successful career, Dr. Lee is a member with many professional organizations, and she is a contributor to a variety of professional journals. She belongs to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the National Management Honor Society and Sigma Iota Epsilon. Dr. Lee is a strategic fellow member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies Research Institute and member of the National Defense Industrial Association. Dr. Lee participated in the 2019 AT&T 5G Hackathon Competition on Cyber Secured 5G Network and Applications. 


Looking forward, Dr. Lee will continue her life’s work as a cyber architect by maintaining and building secure infrastructures for organizations, providing technical guidance to safeguard systems and networks, creating security policies and procedures, evaluating potential risks, preventing the cost of risks and resolving threats.
