Dr. Stanley is being recognized for this distinction for having over 4 decades of professional experience as a seasoned and trusted American paleontologist and evolutionary biologist. Dr. Stanley has demonstrated success not only as a Research Professor for the University of Hawaii, but has demonstrated success in all past positions he has ever held.He is best known for his empirical research documenting the evolutionary process of punctuated equilibrium in the fossil record.
