Dr. Thomas F. Osborne, Chief Medical Informatics Officer for the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System was just recently selected as Top Chief Medical Informatics Officer of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the industry.

With close to two decades of professional experience as a seasoned and trusted Radiologist and Neuroradiologist, Dr. Osborne has certainly proven himself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field. He has demonstrated success not only as Top Chief Medical Informatics Officer for the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System, and Clinical Assistant Professor for Stanford Health Care, but in all of his prior positions.His impressive repertoire of prior roles has included Radiologist, Neuroradiologist and Director of Research for MEDNAX, and Director of Medical Informatics for vRad (Virtual Radiologic).

In 2015, Dr. Osborne was named Top People to Watch in Radiology by the Journal of Diagnostic Imaging.
Aside from his successful career, Dr. Osborne is also a sought after international lecturer, speaker, and published author.His medical research has been published in numerous medical journals and textbooks.He has recently co-authored and edited a textbook about the latest medical technological advancements titled, Using Technology to Improve Care of Older Adults.He has been invited to speak at national and international conferences on topics ranging from the future of health care, to the use of advanced sensors, and artificial intelligence in medicine.
