Nashville based Pop/Country artist Elise releases a new single titled "That Jeep" just in time for Summer!
"That Jeep" is a fun, upbeat pop/country song about riding backroads with a summertime love in "that jeep". Already skyrocketing to #2 on the Amazon Best Sellers chart in it's pre-order stage, this song will be taking over digital radio and streaming platforms on it's official release day of May 8th, 2020.
The infectious banjo, hooky pop production (provided by Nashville based production team Lane and Lavigne), and expertly sung vocal make this song a Summer standout. Elise makes her home in Nashville Tennessee but is originally from the rainy delta of Memphis. Growing up, Elise was influenced by a steady mix of country, gospel, and pop. At a mere 4'11 she is a tiny force to be reckoned with..."Though she be but little, she be fierce" is her favorite Shakespeare quote and she embodies it with her powerhouse vocals. To date, Elise has opened for major country stars such as Sara Evans, performed as the halftime show for the NBA team the Memphis Grizzlies, and has recieved the "golden ticket" on both Americal Idol seasons 12 and 13. Elise also made it to the top 60 contestants in the nation on season 4 of The Voice.
Elise credits Celine Dion (who she has seen live 6 times and counting...), Michael Jackson, and Shania Twain as her eclectic musical influences helping to shape the performer she is today. High energy and soaring vocals are what makes Elise's live shows so compelling. For the past 10 years, when she's not in the studio or writing her original material Elise has been performing as the lead singer in a professional cover band touring all over the mid south. She wrote her latest single "That Jeep" with one half of her production team Jason Lane. Her previous release was December 2019 with the Christmas single "Don't Feel Like Christmas" which Lane also penned.
