Veteran Owned Firm Assists the Army in Asset Utilization
Wytrwal Industries, LLC, (“Wytrwal”) a leading international consulting and advisory firm focused on finance and economics, is pleased to announce that it recently completed work on a short-term government contract in which the firm provided financial, economic and market analysis of an Enhanced Use Lease (“EUL”) for assets of the Department of the Army at Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois.
The work was focused on providing expertise to the Army on generating additional revenues of various assets at Rock Island, including the famous Quarters One – the second largest house in the federal government’s inventory, second only to the White House, and the Arsenal Island Golf Course, the oldest course in the region along the Mississippi River.
“We conducted a thorough analysis of some of the Arsenal’s assets, surveyed the economic activity in the greater Quad Cities region, and provided a detailed list of recommendations in our report to the Army so that they can generate enhanced returns on them”, commented Edmund L. Luzine, Jr., a former investment banker, retired Army special operations intelligence officer and the Founder and CEO of Wytrwal.
Rock Island Arsenal, like many other federal and state units, may elect to enter into a lease of these assets with a private firm through a public private partnership or PPP arrangement that is growing in frequency as a way in which to expand the yield on investments made by the taxpayers over many decades.
“It was an honor to perform this challenging financial analytical work for the Army at one of the world’s top producers of armaments for US military personnel, Allies, partners and friends during many years of peace and war,” Luzine added.
