Fast Track Hobbies has built a following for hobbyists throughout the region after opening the business 17 years ago. Now they take a step back to recognize the growth of the company over the years. As the neighborhood hobby shop and the Sacramento area’s only commercial slot car raceway, they have developed a following that was not there before. With their continued popularity Fast Track Hobbies is beginning to expand their inventory and the opportunities they allow for young hobbyists.
Owner Dwight Adamson is passionate about everything involving General Hobbies, R/C Hobbies, and Slot Cars. Making new modifications to the business and plans are in motion to expand their offerings.
Fast Track Hobbies initially opened its doors back in 2002. Admiring the growth they have accomplished, being named the number one hobby shop in the Rocklin area is only fitting for this company that never settles for anything less than the best.

Their huge R/C selection includes cars, trucks, boats, planes, drones and helis and the parts to keep you going! There are models, kites, games, pine wood derby, rockets, hobby supplies, doll houses, puzzles, metal detectors, telescopes, gold pans, microscopes, toys, and so much more!
The Grand Re-Opening
Fast Track Hobbies will be holding a Grand Re-Opening celebration on Saturday, November 16th where everyone is welcome to stop by to check out the recently restored slot car track The Purple Angel. Their beloved 25 year old slot car track was carefully restored by master track builder Chris Dads. Slot car rentals are available so you can race on their slot car tracks or bring your own slot car!
We encourage hobbyists of all ages to come and take part in this grand celebration. Fast Track Hobbies is excited to share their new updates with the community and other hobby enthusiasts.
