Fleets Win Green Awards for Operating Low Emissions Shuttle Buses Powered by ICOM North America’s Alternative Fuel Systems in Acadia National Park and Forest Preserve District of Cook County.
Icom North America, a leading manufacturer of Alternative Fuel Systems, congratulates two ‘Green’ Fleets who won prestigious Propane Educational & Resource Council (PERC) Awards at BUSCON in Indianapolis for their emission reducing Propane Shuttle Buses utilizing Icom Propane Liquid Injection Systems.

Mr. Paul Murphy Executive Director, Downeast Transportation of Acadia National Parks, Maine, kindly accepted the award in person for the for park services shuttle fleet. This award is a tribute to Downeast's and the National Parks Services continual commitment to reducing emissions and utilizing a domestic clean fuel.
Mr. Thomas Thompson, Fleet Manager, Forest Preserve District of Cook County Illinois, kindly accepted the PERC award in person for their fleet. This award is a tribute to the Forest Preserve's continual commitment to achieving green sustainability and utilizing a green fuel.
