Report From Our Youth Forum Will Showcase Students From Across the 100 Network As They Discuss Navigating Through COVID-19
Atlanta, GA – September 16, 2020–A highlight of the 100 Black Men of America’s Annual Conference is the Report from Our Youth event. This year’s Youth Power Forum is sure to be no exception and will not disappoint attendees. The Youth Forum will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 10:30 AM (EST).
This event will highlight the Work of the 100’s youth mentees from across the 100 network’s U.S. and International chapters. The members of these chapters work tirelessly to support, uplift, educate and ultimately mentor the youth they serve to become the best versions of themselves. The forum is annually led and produced by the youth who will showcase their talents and report on their accomplishments, serving as moderators, speakers and performers.
“Our mentees are phenomenal and represent excellence and the future leadership our community has to offer this nation and the world. Anyone who has the opportunity to attend the Report from Our Youth Forum should do so. I have witnessed these sessions firsthand since its inception. Each year my heart has been touched, spirit uplifted, and I leave with a sense of pride and purpose to do more to shape the lives of the youth we serve,” stated Thomas W. Each year, a topic is selected for the youth to discuss and react to through word and song. This year, youth will report out and express their concerns around COVID-19 and how it has impacted their education, health, economic and social well-being.
