09/15/2018 22:07 - LOS ANGELES CA - (PR Distribution™)

Greg Marks, 17-year-old recording artist, songwriter, & producer, just released his new song, “Don’t Tell Me.” The song, highly-anticipated amongst fans, has been promoted on social media by celebrities such as Annie LeBlanc, Mackenzie Ziegler, Carson Lueders, Hayden Summerall, Matt Sato, and more. Fans have been eager to hear Marks’ new single, demonstrating their support with a viral social media trend, one finger over their mouths (symbolizing “shh”), and using the hashtag #GregMarksDontTellMe. The single can be streamed and/or purchased on Spotify, Apple Music/iTunes, Amazon, and other music streaming services.

For Greg Marks, his journey into the music industry began with a guitar and a dream when he was only seven years old. This year, though, he’s become even more dedicated to his craft. “I’ve been in the studio every single day trying to find myself as an artist and my purpose in this music journey.” The new single, “Dont Tell Me,” will be the first song that Marks has released this year, and it reflects his new attitude and dedication towards music. “I use to focus on making music that I thought was ‘on-trend,’ instead of the music I wanted to make. I let my own insecurities hold me back from doing that. This year I decided to be myself and tell my own story through my music.”

More on Greg Marks ———

Greg Marks’ love of music came at a very young age. At just seven years old, he began taking guitar lessons  and with  the  encouragement  of  his  guitar  teacher, he also began taking vocal lessons. He continued fine-tuning his craft, receiving one-on-one training from many industry veterans. Now, an experienced and multi-faceted entertainer, Marks writes and produces his own original material. Music isn’t his only passion, though, he is also known for his role as Henry in Brat’s series, Chicken Girls, where he’s stolen the hearts of teenage girls for over a dozen episodes.

Marks is currently touring notable venues within the surrounding cities of Los Angeles, CA, as well as overseas. He proudly states, “My purpose is to be a role model that consistently provides a great example in order to guide my audience into leading a positive lifestyle!” With such a wise grasp of reality, you forget that this young man is only seventeen years old. This year, Marks’ main focus is to create more authentic music than he ever has before. He explains, ”I never thought music would be how I’d express my thoughts and emotions, but that’s exactly what I’m doing.” Focused as ever, Marks is in the process of building his own independent record company, all the while releasing new, original songs and inspiring his dedicated fans.
