HealthCare Appraisers, Inc. has hired Richard F. Clarke, Jr. as the firm’s Chief Business Development Officer. In his role, Clarke will work closely with leadership to develop and implement the firm’s companywide business development strategy. “On behalf of HealthCare Appraisers, we welcome Richard to the team,” said Daryl Johnson, managing partner. “His proven experience, particularly in healthcare, is an excellent fit for our mission, and he’s a great addition to the company.”
Clarke brings with him nearly 30 years of sales and management experience across a variety of roles, all of which have had an extensive focus on business development. His experience includes overseeing the strategic growth of numerous healthcare programs and facilities, expanding C-suite level hospital relationships, developing and implementing a centralized admissions department, managing key physician recruitment and relationships, and managing relationships with payers and providers. Clarke has been the recipient of several professional awards, including the CFO Award for most profitable growth. He most recently held executive positions for two and a half years at Catholic Health Services Inc. and eight years at Tenet Healthcare Inc.
Clarke holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Florida Atlantic University. He is currently, or has been previously, a member of the Florida Hospital and Healthcare Association, the Florida Health Care Association, the Florida Assisted Living Association, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the Miami-Dade County Mayor’s Initiative on Aging.
