East Bay startup Hello Divorce today announced the launch of their online platform that seeks to reimagine the way people approach the California divorce process. Hello Divorce provides ongoing subscription-based memberships to curated articles, resources, DIY videos and instructional templates, which users can access while preparing legal forms and moving their case through the Court system. In addition, Hello Divorce offers on-demand, flat-fee legal services, such as mediation, legal coaching, and document preparation—for when the bevy of informational resources isn’t enough.
Another major innovation that Hello Divorce offers is the pay-as-you-go model, with subscription services starting at $349. In opposition to the traditional, fee-heavy, retainer-based legal services available to those seeking a divorce, Hello Divorce proposes a high-quality model that empowers users with tools to move their own cases forward whenever possible, with additional flat-fee legal services available when more assistance is needed.
