We’re delighted to announce that Stacy Hurt will join OSP as a Senior Healthcare Advisor in June 2021. Stacy is a HIMSS Digital Health Influencer who brings with her over 20 years of experience in the health industry and physician practice management. She is a stage IV colorectal cancer survivor and full-time caregiver to her intellectually and developmentally disabled son.
Stacy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and a Master of Health Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a voice for placing patients in the conversation of healthcare decision making. Stacy connects pharma/tech companies and health systems to their end-users as a Patient Consultant. Her areas of focus are digital health, patient engagement, cancer survivorship, resilience, patient centricity, invisible disabilities, and patient/caregiver experience.
Besides these, Stacy is a certified personal fitness trainer, member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, member of the #TelemedNow thought leader group and a member of the Society to Improve Diagnosis in Medicine. Her viral story of a “random act of kindness” from a Southwest Airlines employee was featured on ABC World News Tonight with David Muir, The Today Show, Inside Edition, Fox News, Huffington Post, Forbes Magazine, and other major news outlets around the world.
At OSP, Stacy will be contributing her expertise in patient opinions and patient-centric health product design. Her remit will be to help OSP expand its reach and product design in the healthcare industry. We very much look forward to having Stacy on board with us.
