Hiscale partnered with InSync Technology and will be showing the new FrameFormer Plugin for FLICS Elastic Transcoding Cluster for high quality, motion compensated standards conversion at IBC 2018.
With the FLICS FrameFormer Plugin, we are able to extend the functionality of FLICS with frame rate and format conversion including deinterlacing, up/down/cross conversion, aspect ratio conversion, cadence management and SDR/HDR conversion.
