iRun4Life Inc., a local nonprofit organization based in Bucks County, PA with a mission to help combat childhood obesity through its after school running programs, has launched a brand new, interactive Virtual Learning Center for elementary school children and their families. Given the current stay at home situation, Nikolai Derek, iRun4Life Board Secretary, recognized the need for children to have an easy, at home resource with fun ideas that would keep children active and positive.

Every four days, the Virtual Learning Center is updated with engaging exercise, yoga, and dance videos, easy kid friendly healthy recipes, creative arts and crafts, daily good deeds, articles about health, nutrition & exercise for young children, and extras such as Zumba, indoor family games, and positive vibes. An especially useful feature is the Daily Workout link which includes a short warm up, workout video, yoga video, dance video, and cool down exercises with kid friendly music. It is a great daily workout routine for families that will keep everyone moving for over an hour.

Another exciting feature within the Virtual Learning Center is the Learning @Home Resource page where there are three options for links to creative brain games, educational ideas and virtual field trips to museums, zoos, national parks and more.

iRun4Life is offering the Virtual Learning Center for free, and is encouraging people to share their posts on Facebook (@iRun4Life) and Instagram (@iRun4Lifekids) with their communities.
