Her impressive repertoire of roles and areas of expertise include but are not limited to: empowering her clients to help themselves eliminate unwanted habits, feelings and behaviors. Smoking cessation, general stress, Weight reduction through the Virtual Gastric Band, and she also teaches and certifies new Hypnotists.
Jo-Anne provides Hypnosis services and is Cert.1 in EFT which is the Emotional Freedom Technique specializing in weight solutions and smoking cessation.

Throughout her career Jo-Anne has received awards including the IHF Award of Excellence for International Education and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. For 2020 she is being considered for a feature in TIP (Top Industry Professional) Magazine, being considered for the Empowered Woman of the Year Award and was selected as Top Hypnotherapist of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). At the end of this year she will be honored at IAOTP’s Annual Awards Gala at the Plaza Hotel in NYC for this distinction.
Aside from her successful career, Jo-Anne is also a published author and sought-after lecturer, and educator. She authored her book “Exhale Weight” based on her own personal journey with weight which uses common sense concepts for the emotional aspects of overeating.Jo-Anne is also the Founder and Director of The Canadian Hypnosis Conference which is held annually in October in Ontario, Canada. At the conference, hypnotists learn new techniques, network with other Hypnotists, meet new hypnotist colleagues and exchange ideas. Jo-Anne is also a Dowser active with the Canadian Society of Dowsers.
Looking back, Jo-Anne attributes her success to her perseverance, mentors she has had along the way, and staying passionate in all her endeavors. When not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She has been married for 55 years to her husband Brian and is a mom of five children and grandmother to 10 grandchildren. Jo-Anne says she has been blessed; she loves doing what she is doing and feels this is just the beginning. For the future, she hopes to continue to inspire, empower, and continue to help people anyway that she can. “When someone walks out of my door feeling better than when they walked in, I am fulfilled”
