-TUCC CONTINUES TO BUILD ON ITS MISSION, EXCELLENCE IN UROLOGY –
Kara Choate, M.D., has joined the team at The Urology Center of Colorado (TUCC). The TUCC team now includes 19 urologists, one radiation oncologist and five advanced practice providers.
Dr. Choate completed her Urology Residency and General Surgery Internship at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She practices general Urology and has special interest and training in percutaneous kidney stone surgery, endoscopic treatment of prostate enlargement, prosthetic urology, and the evaluation and treatment of female urologic issues.
“The Urology Center of Colorado is the largest center of its kind in the region and offers opportunities to focus on a variety of urologic conditions,” states Dr. Choate. “The state-of-the-art facility and mission to provide excellence in urology at TUCC enables us to provide the best care to patients, all in one place.”
Dr. Choate earned her Doctorate in Medicine at University of Texas Health Science Center School of Medicine in San Antonio, Texas. There she was the recipient of several recognitions including the Jack R. Robinson Endowed Scholarship in Urology and the award for Excellence in Genitourinary Surgery.
