Nomad Eyewear is pleased to announce the launch of a Kickstarter campaign that provides vibrant, designer quality sunglasses made with 100% recycled materials and with 100% carbon offsetting.
“We are bored of dull sunglasses” says Tom Allan, Founder of Nomad Eyewear. “This Kickstarter campaign aims to provide backers the opportunity to purchase fun and vibrant sunglasses made with the same quality as designer brands but at a much more affordable price point. Plus giving back to nature at the same time.”
Nomads are produced in an environmentally friendly way using recycled plastic collected from the ocean. Each pair of Nomads is made with approximately 10 discarded plastic bottles. The entire process, from manufacturing to delivery, is carbon neutral. The company has calculated that by planting one tree for every pair of sunglasses manufactured the carbon output is offset. "Our goal is to plant a forest by the end of this campaign" adds Tom.
Nomads are available in 4 unisex models and in a variety of colors. They are produced using high-end manufacturing techniques developed in Switzerland. “Our goal is to provide fun, designer quality shades at affordable prices to a Worldwide market” states Tom. “Our shades are bright and vibrant, reflecting adventurous personalities and the desire to explore in color.”
