DCA Live, a Washington, D.C. area organization that celebrates the region’s corporate, entrepreneur, federal tech, legal, association & nonprofit, and real estate communities, recently announced Kit Check’s CFO Kristyn Reed-Salow is once again recognized on their annual Star CFO list. Every year, DCA Live celebrates top Finance leaders from the Washington region's fastest growing and most exciting companies for their Star CFO list. This is Kristyn’s second time on the DCA Live Star CFO list coming off of an exciting and rewarding year for the Kit Check finance, legal and operations team.
In 2020, despite the vicissitudes of the global pandemic and Kit Check’s pivot to an entire remote presence, Reed-Salow has expertly led the financial and operations side of the business at Kit Check. All since the start of the pandemic, Reed-Salow has led the organization in finalizing a funding round, structured the financials of another new software product to be launched at ASHP Midyear 2020, and ensured Kit Check’s success with the overnight changes the pandemic caused with hospitals and suppliers alike. As a Healthcare IT business, the Company’s speed at addressing this challenge with and for its customers was crucial.
“We are extremely excited to celebrate Kristyn and the guidance she brings to the Kit Check team,” said Kevin MacDonald, CEO and Co-Founder of Kit Check. “She brings unparalleled leadership and expertise to the financial side of our organization and this award is much deserved.” Reed-Salow has been with Kit Check since 2017, with decades of experience leading growth technology companies including Mantas (sold to Oracle) and Fishbowl. She is a CPA and a CMA who holds a MA in Economic Development from the University of Chicago and an accounting degree from Michigan State University.
