Lemartec is proud to announce and welcome Rafael Marrero as the company’s Client Relationship Manager for the Federal Sector. In this capacity, Mr. Marrero is responsible for promoting Lemartec’s brand to U.S. federal agencies and developing a strategic and tactical plan to redirect our key competencies to grow our presence in the public sector.
Mr. Marrero joins the Lemartec team from Rafael Marrero & Company, a Business-to-Government (B2G) consultancy located in Doral, Florida, where he serves as the company’s President and CEO. The company is a leading Inc. 500 firm, nationally-certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), whose mission centers on advising Veteran-Owned, Minority, Women, HUBZone and Small Businesses become strategic suppliers of goods and services in the large private and public sectors.
Mr. Marrero, a Stanford University and Cornell University trained senior corporate executive, comes to Lemartec with an extensive and successful career spanning 30+ years of diversified experience in government contracting, program management, telecommunications, construction, information technology, renewable energy, and high-tech environments. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Corporate Vendor Management, Contracts, Supply Chain and Procurement for MasTec Network Solutions, a $4.5 billion publicly traded dollar firm with 20,000 employees representing $1.5 billion in projects on behalf of AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and Sprint. There, he also held the position of Corporate Director of Government Solutions, where he launched and successfully managed the department. Mr. Marrero’s Federal contracting expertise will steer Lemartec’s federal efforts toward a positive growth trajectory.
