Madison based firm, BMOC Inc. is Honored as a 2019 USF Fast 56 Award Recipient

The University of South Florida (USF) Alumni Association honored the 2019 USF Fast 56 – the fastest growing USF alumni-owned or -led businesses in the world – on April 26.

BMOC Inc. led by William J. Levy CPM is one of the fastest growing property management companies in Wisconsin. BMOC Inc. was one of 56 businesses inducted into the 2019 USF Fast 56 by USF System President Judy Genshaft and USF Alumni Association Board of Directors Chair Merritt Martin.

“BMOC Inc is thrilled to be recognized by the University of South Florida for the growth of our business,” said William J. Levy CPM a 1982 graduate of USF. He is the CEO of BMOC Inc. that started in Madison, Wisconsin in 1984. BMOC Inc. is a national firm that specializes in institutional investments as well as other defined real estate assets. They manage communities from coast to coast. He has been an original principal/owner of national companies like Campus Advantage based in Austin Texas. He has held senior executive level positions with College Park Communities (a four-billion-dollar REIT in student housing). He started in the industry working for Allen & O'Hara (EDR), Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company as a Resident Assistant working in a private dormitory Fontana Hall. Mr. Levy has specialized in a banquet of investments that included, High Rise Mixed-use buildings, Student Garden Style Apartments, Military Housing, Commercial Investments and Conventional Apartments. Mr. Levy has managed and developed portfolio's over four billion dollars of value and looks for additional value in existing or new communities. His additions have added millions of dollars of value into existing portfolios. His portfolio provides many services to the customer as example food service, weekly housekeeping, maintenance, fitness centers, tanning centers, indoor gyms, indoor pools, computer rooms, curbside move ins, and full concierge services and masseuses. Service is a strong part of what he believes is the future of apartment management, "developing a life style, not just a place to live".

To be considered for the USF Fast 56 program, an organization must have been in business for at least three years, have revenues of $250,000 or more for the most recent 12-month period, and be owned or led by a former USF student.

The 2019 USF Fast 56 companies were ranked by percentage of cumulative annual growth in revenue, as documented by Cherry Bekaert, a public accounting firm based in Tampa. Fifty-six USF alumni owned or led businesses were selected as recipients, in recognition of the year USF was founded, 1956.

“We’re proud to recognize BMOC Inc. as one of the 56 fastest growing USF Bull-led businesses in the world,” said USF Alumni Association Executive Director Bill McCausland.
