Julio Gonzalez, national tax reform expert and the CEO of Engineered Tax Services, is proud to announce the publication of his first children’s book, Coco the Cat's Miraculous Expedition: The Incredible True Story of a Cat, Swept Away by a Hurricane, and Finding Her Way Home.
“I love being able to show kids a true example of hope, perseverance, and inspiration,” Gonzalez said. “I knew Coco’s story was the perfect tale to tell,” he continued.
The picture book tells the amazing true story of Mr. Gonzalez’s cat Coco, who went missing during a hurricane in Florida and managed to find its way back to its family nearly two months later.
With only hours before a hurricane made landfall, Coco went missing. Security camera footage revealed that two dogs had gotten onto Mr. Gonzalez’s property and cornered Coco. Then disaster struck. While backing away from her attackers, Coco fell into the Intracoastal.
Gonzalez and his wife were traumatized. However, six weeks after Coco fell into the Intracoastal and to her presumed death, Mrs. Gonzalez opened their front door to find their beloved cat lying there. Coco is still at home, safe and sound, to this day.
