Higher Education Predictive Analytics Company Selects Software Executive and Startup Ecosystem Experts
Sightline Inc., a provider of predictive analytics for small to medium sized higher education institutions, has selected three advisors with extensive experience within the Midwest startup ecosystem to join the SightLine Team.
Sightline maximizes financial aid allocations, enrollment, retention and graduation outcomes for higher education, made possible through affordable predictive analytical services without the need for new software. SightLine is the predictive analytics concierge, eliminating the learning curve while providing validated results in a timely fashion.
Ted Dacko, Founder of Arbor Dakota, a consulting and services company that helps early-stage companies grow great ideas into great companies has consulted for SightLine for over a year and will now be formally joining the SightLine team with an advisory role.
“Ted’s knowledge of and experience with software analytics firms is critical to our success.” said Ashley Kern, Sightline CEO. “He has run companies and coaches early-stage companies and helps them achieve their growth potential. Plus, he has a background in both analytical software as well as higher education.” Kern added.
“I am thrilled to be working with Sightline” said Ted Dacko. “I 100% believe in predictive analytics and its applicability to higher education and look forward to contributing to the company’s growth. Higher education organizations of all size need to better understand their student populations in order to remain fiscally viable and to eliminate drop-out rates.”
Additionally, Patti Glaza, Managing Director of ID Ventures, the venture arm of Invest Detroit providing targeted investment capital and resources to early-stage, high-growth companies in the region, will be joining the SightLine advisory board. Patti has been an early supporter of SightLine, leading SightLine’s pre-seed investment round during 2018 through Invest Detroit. She continues to provide ongoing capitalization and business development advising.
Patrick Visser CCO of MTEC SmartZone, which is one of 20 statewide innovation centers for technology startups, operating under direction of the Michigan Economic Development Corp rounds out the SightLine advisory board. Patrick provides expert advice towards strategy, ideation, and commercialization of both products and business models.
