Monday May 4, 2020 – Scottsdale, AZ –  Neuro Force One in Scottsdale, AZ, is the exclusive training center for UFC Bantamweight Champion, former Flyweight Champion and USA Olympic Wrestling Gold Medalist,  Henry “The Messenger” Cejudo and is offering you exclusive training footage, video & audio clips and quotes with Cejudo as well as NF1 Director of Human Performance, Andre Hicks, and exclusive one-on-one interviews with Hicks.

The footage, clips and interviews will detail Cejudo’s training camp for his UFC 249 title defense against legendary champion Dominick Cruz, Saturday May 9th in Jacksonville, Florida, bringing you an up close, entertaining and informative look at the winning combination of Cejudo’s champion mentality and the revolutionary, cutting-edge training methods of NeuroForce1. This methodology of NeuroForce1 and complete 12 week training program "Combat Evolved" is available at https://nf1combatevolved.com/

In just 12 weeks, the 33 year-old Cejudo successfully rehabbed his surgically repaired shoulder, dropped his body fat percentage from 16.5% to 12% while gaining 3.8lbs of lean body mass and cut his biological age from 31 to 29, meaning his body is actually four years younger than the number of candles on his cake. These metrics were defined using  NF1's Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) technology .

"Look at me", said Cejudo, 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist and one of just 4 simultaneous two-division champions in UFC history. "I’m swole. I look like a monster, like an animated character. My process is my weapon and I owe all that credit to NeuroForce1.”

"This is the best shape I’ve ever seen him in”, said Hicks. To go from where he was, off shoulder surgery, to where he’s at now, I never would’ve thought he’d be here. He kept laser focus on May 9th. This guy is a world champion through and through.”

This camp has been filled with challenges and obstacles for “The Messenger” aka "Triple C". He was just a few weeks into his rehab for major shoulder surgery when Arizona issued the Covid-19 stay at home order, which severely limited his ability to train. He suffered minor injuries along the way. He had his car stolen. His opponent changed from Jose Aldo to Dominick Cruz. His fight was moved from Brazil to Florida but the champion never lost his focus.

“From the start, this has been crazy”, said Cejudo. From the Corona Virus, to little injuries, to changing opponents from Jose Aldo to Cruz, it’s been a challenge for me. Having a great team, people that are gonna give you confidence, that’s been the key.”

“I make plans instead of programs”, said Hicks. I know what I need to do when I need to do it to get him to peak at the right time. From shoulder surgery, to training at the park, new opponent, different location. He just kept his focus moving forward, overcoming every hurdle.”

Hicks and Cejudo have worked side by side at NF1 for every training session of every camp starting with UFC 229, when “The Messenger” shocked the world and dethroned the longest tenured champion in UFC history, Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson. Cejudo hasn’t lost since they’ve been working together, something Hicks attributes to the Champ's intense work ethic.

Daniel Cormier (DC), another one of the UFC’s rare two-division champions and Cejudo’s US Olympic Wrestling teammate, has known “Triple C” since he was a 15 year-old high school kid at the US Olympic Training Center. “Not taking Cejudo seriously would be the biggest mistake you could ever make in your life”, said the former UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champ.

Cejudo, a -250 betting favorite heading into this fight, feels better than ever as he prepares to face the man many consider to be the #1 Bantamweight in the UFC, if not, MMA history.

"It’s G.O.A.T. hunting season for me”, said Cejudo. “I’m firing on all cylinders and I couldn’t do that without NF1. From the mental stuff, the recovery, the strength, the speed, the cognitive, the dynamic, the game plan. Dominick Cruz, you’re messing with the bionic man. On May 9th, you will bend the knee to Triple C."
