Terrell, TX: Today, Hemingway Hill announced its anticipated opening date of Saturday, November 26th 2021 at 10:00 am. This is the farm’s first time being open to the public. Located just 40 minutes from Dallas, TX, the farm aspires to be an oasis where city dwellers can come to relax and reconnect with nature. The farm’s founder, Jennifer Loyall, describes it as “rest for the soul.”
Currently, the farm is offering pre-cut Christmas trees. Just in time, too, as a live Christmas tree shortage is expected again this year. Families can also enjoy free hayrides, fire pits, hot chocolate, and Christmas cookies at the farm. Rows of Virginia pines are also being planted at the farm and will be available for future Christmases.
Come spring 2022, the farm will feature rows of fresh flowers, focusing on heirloom varieties. The farm also has special consideration for photography. “Unlike other farms, Hemingway Hill is specifically designed to be photographer-friendly,” says Loyall.
