The Leadership Advancement & Development initiative, or LEAD, is a product of Argentum, an association dedicated to supporting companies that serve older adults.

Hearth’s senior living strategy, which has always prioritized care through unique offerings such as on-site physical therapy, lends itself to LEAD’s structure.
“As a registered nurse, I strongly identify with the need for a balance between robust leadership and outstanding care in the senior living industry, and am confident that the LEAD program will provide both,” said Jonathan Barbieri, Hearth’s Senior Vice President.
Participants in the LEAD program, including Kara Khanzadian, Hearth’s Regional VP of Operations, will focus on an array of subjects, including emotional intelligence and advanced communication capabilities.
“I was proud to be recognized by Argentum last year as part of their 40 under 40 program, and I’m equally excited to participate in LEAD this year,” said Khanzadian. “I’ve been involved with Argentum for several years now, and think LEAD is a great addition to their catalogue of development and networking opportunities.”
