Brian Campbell, Rosa Kwon Easton, and Bob Parke were sworn in at the Palos Verde Library Board of Trustees on December 9, 2019, by Superior Court Judge Tom Long. Both trustee Campbell and judge Tom Long previously served together on the Rancho Palos Verdes city council, where they both were prior mayors. The library district serves all four cities on the Peninsula and is an independent special district governed by a publicly elected board of trustees.
Former Rancho Palos Verdes mayor Brian Campbell took the oath of office for his second term as Library Board Trustee, subsequently, Brian was elected Board Secretary for 2020.
Prior to his service on the library board, Brian Campbell was elected twice to the Rancho Palos Verdes city council where he served twice as vice-mayor and once as mayor prior to being termed out of office.
