Nominated for Electrical Construction & Maintenance (EC&M) Magazine’s 2018 All-Stars Under 30, Karen McHugh was recently selected as 1 of 10 professionals in the electrical industry to receive this prestigious recognition. Recipients were chosen by a panel of judges based on the candidate’s demonstrated ability to go above and beyond the call of duty while demonstrating innovation, efficiency, creativity, and technology into their daily jobs. In addition to McHugh’s drive, innovation, and resourcefulness, she was also selected for her work with Lean at Parsons.
McHugh began her work with Lean on the U.S. Bank Stadium project, the largest construction project in Minnesota to-date. Using the Parsons Production System (PPS), she worked with the team to deliver customer value through quality and efficiencies helping to deliver the project on-time and on-budget for the 2016 football season. After the conclusion of construction on U.S Bank Stadium, McHugh rejoined the Parsons office team as Manager of Strategic Projects working primarily with the Parsons Technologies team, soon earning her Lean Green Belt.
