Rangam Wins Award for Best Social Responsibility Program in U.S. Staffing and Recruiting Industry

10/02/2019 17:00 - United States, New Jersey, Somerset - (PR Distribution™)

Rangam Consultants Inc., a workforce solutions company headquartered in Somerset, NJ, was honored with a 2019 American Staffing Association Care Award. This national awards program recognizes outstanding social responsibility initiatives—business processes that produce an overall positive effect on society—among ASA member staffing agencies and associate members (industry suppliers).

Rangam was honored for its “SourceAbled for Neuro-inclusion in the Workplace” program. With the objective of opening the door of employment opportunities for individuals with autism and people with disabilities, the program works with local service providers and businesses to create a sustainable support system in the workplace. The SourceAbled team partners with service providers and connects them to corporations nationwide. Service providers are also provided with free technology so they can manage their clients in a cloud-based platform. For corporations, SourceAbled addresses the challenge of talent shortage by identifying untapped talent that’s innovative, creative, and dependable.

“Something as simple as having a job, which we take for granted every day, can be an insurmountable struggle for many individuals who think and work differently. They are talented and competent individuals who are ever so willing to become a part of the rest of the workforce. SourceAbled helps us attract these individuals and offer them life-changing career opportunities,” Geetanjali M., VP of Operations & Talent Acquisition at Rangam, said as she thanked ASA for the recognition.

“As a socially responsible organization, we give back to the community through our network of partners and service providers who work hard every single day to reduce the percentage of unemployed Americans with disabilities. Disability inclusion is a complex process and progress can be slow, but it’s important to keep moving forward as we’ve been doing. We pride ourselves for going above and beyond and that is business as usual for us,” Geetanjali added.

Notably, Matthew Brennan, who was honored by ASA as the Engineering, Information Technology, and Scientific Sector All-Star in 2019, was hired through the SourceAbled program in October 2016.

ASA Care Award honorees will be celebrated at Staffing World® 2019—the largest, most comprehensive learning and networking event in the staffing and recruiting industry—Oct. 15?17 in Las Vegas.
