RideBidz Inc. today announced that 26-year IT industry veteran Brian Shin has joined the company as Chief Technology Officer. Shin will play a key role in shaping RideBidz technology strategy as the company embarks on its next phase of growth and leadership across three of the most transformative trends in the history of IT – Rideshare, Domestic and Local Freight.

Shin, with more than 26 years of IT industry leadership experience and 17 granted and pending patents, was most recently Chief Solutions Architect and Senior Manager of a $35.4B international strategy consulting firm, Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company), now part of Price Waterhouse Coopers. He also served as the executive leader of Strategy&’s Digital team which provides leading edge strategy and innovative digital solutions for Fortune 50 and 100 clients, as well as maintain client relations, sales, recruiting, marketing, and operations support for global firm in over 50 countries and over 200,000 employees. Prior to Strategy&. Shin was the Director of Software Development of Optimis Incorporated, a $10M provider of software applications for the medical industry. Prior to Optimis, he was CEO and founder of Viking Computer Consulting, a global independent consultant and software development firm. Brian started his career at Xplain Corporation (publishers of MacTech Magazine) where he grew within the company, ultimately becoming the global CTO.
