Robert’s impressive repertoire of past roles includes his dedication as the Advisor and Founder of the Steele Center for Professional Selling at the University of North Alabama, his alma mater. In healthcare technology, he became the top producer in 2004 with $25 million in Total Contract Value with Ingenix, a United Healthcare subsidiary. Robert’s next role, as Chief Sales Officer for a healthcare start-up, he led the company from $600,000 in revenue to a successful close on a sale of the company with a $35 million dollar valuation. Moreover, his next role was building the sales for a company with $6 million in revenue to more than $85 million in revenue from 2008-2013. In an interesting role as President of the healthcare division where he designed, built and deployed a healthcare exchange product he sourced and successfully closed on an exclusive license of the product for $90 million dollars, Robert loves challenges that most would not tackle.

Before embarking on his current career path, Robert attended the University of North Alabama where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Throughout his illustrious career, Robert has received awards, accolades and has been recognized as an active member of his community for his outstanding leadership and commitment to entrepreneurship. This year he will have a chapter dedicated to him in IAOTP’s Top 50 Fearless Leaders Publication and will be considered for the Entrepreneur of the Decade award given by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). He graced the front cover of TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and was featured on the famous Reuters Billboard in Times Square NYC. Robert will receive his recognition from 2021 as Top CEO of the Year along with Top Inspirational Entrepreneur of the Year, at IAOTP’s Annual Awards Gala this December at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.
His other affiliations and achievements include his seat on the Board of Directors for the Social Shepard Foundation, Robert also served as a Director for the Board of Directors for the Kettering Executive Network, and he has supported the Shriners Hospitals for Children through the golf tournament held each year at TPC Summerlin. Robert devoted his time and contributed so much of his business know-how to helping others succeed through the Steele Center for Professional Sales at the University of North Alabama. He is on the Foundation Board and serves on the Business Council for the College of Business at the University of North Alabama and he was selected for the Athletic Hall of Fame.
Looking back, Robert attributes his success to his perseverance, his unique business experiences and most of all he loves to help with any challenge. When not working he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and traveling.
