SANITIZINGSAFETY.COM PSA - HAND SANITIZER CHILD SAFETY REPORT -LAUNCHES IN ADVANCE OF CHILD SAFETY MONTH

2020-09-02 12:49:56 - United States, Nevada, Las Vegas - (PR Distribution™)

In Response to the Ongoing Recall of Contaminated Alcohol-Based Hand Sanitizers by the FDA, SanitizingSafety.com Issues a Child Safety Protection Report on Alcohol Content Equivalent, Active Ingredients, Contaminants, and Revolutionary Science Mode of Action with Alcohol-Free Sanitizer

In advance of Child Safety Month, consumer watchdog group, SanitizingSafety.com, prioritized its public awareness campaign on risks of alcohol-based sanitizers to children. A detailed report “HAND SANITIZER: CHILD SAFETY PROTECTION REPORT” explains the risks of alcohol-based hand sanitizers (alcohol content & deadly contaminants) compared to readily available alcohol-free hand sanitizer.

Alcohol-free sanitizing products are made with benzalkonium chloride (BZK); BZK is an organic salt classified as a quaternary ammonium compound. The report further explains a sanitizing science breakthrough via a revolutionary mode of action that attracts microbes (bacteria, virus), ruptures cell membranes, and causes cell death. One particular alcohol-free sanitizing solution is distributed by a U.S. company and is being adopted state-wide in Mexico for healthcare facilities, businesses, and consumers.

The report further explains the alcohol equivalent in travel-sized bottles of hand sanitizers, and adverse risks (including death) to children and adults who accidentally or intentionally consume alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Medical research indicates that overuse of alcohol-based hand sanitizer can trigger blood alcohol content and result in legal matters.

SanitizingSafety.com launched in response to the:

  • World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendation to increase alcohol-based hand sanitizer formulations in response to the global crisis
  • FDA’s ongoing product recall of currently more than 160 brands of alcohol-based hand sanitizers for methanol contamination, 1-propanol contamination, and food & beverage packaging (beer cans, children’s food pouches, water bottles, juice bottles and vodka bottles), and added flavoring

ABOUT SANITIZING SAFETY
Sanitizing Safety.com is a public awareness group that explains the risks of alcohol-based hand sanitizer & deadly contaminants compared to alcohol-free hand sanitizer and sanitizing products. The group recognizes lesser publicized alcohol-free sanitizing products made with Benzalkonium chloride (BZK) are a readily available alternative, are proven to kill bacteria and virus, and a science breakthrough unique mode of action / mechanism of action causes cell walls to rupture and die. BZK is an organic salt and quaternary ammonium compound (QAC). Parents should know the difference. Details are available at https://sanitizingsafety.com
