JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA - Recording artist and four-time cancer survivor, Ryan Hamner, will release his new country song, “Blank Stare Goodbye,” on July 27th, 2021. His release comes just a few short months after a series of heart emergencies related to years of cancer treatment.
Hamner’s first recording deal with Mighty Loud Records came after his song caught the attention of country artist, Sammy Kershaw.
The new track, “Blank Stare Goodbye,” features, Kevin McKendree (Delbert McClinton, Lee Roy Parnell) on keys.
“When I first heard a demo of Ryan’s song, I had a really good feeling about how the final production would sound. We're very pleased,” said renowned producer and engineer, Jeff Tomei (Warren Haynes, Matchbox Twenty).
The survivor’s music has been featured in commercials, PSAs, and has been a part of publishing deals with hit songwriters. In 2011, Hamner wrote and recorded “Where Hope Lives” for the American Cancer Society.
Over the years, Hamner has used his music to reach other cancer survivors. On his “Hear the Heart Tour,” Hamner toured the U.S. performing at hospitals, cancer clinics, and Hope Lodges for those affected by cancer.
