Local Eatery El Rey Azteca Donates Proceeds of Sales to Help Others
Mt. Juliet, Tennessee - Small business restaurant, El Rey Azteca, is giving back to charities by donating proceeds from their sales to help others.
In August and September of 2018, El Rey Azteca will host two days where a percentage of their total sales will go towards charities: The Keith Edmonds Foundation and Lantern Lane Farm. The local business wants to give back and understands that many of their customers do as well, but don’t always know how.
“We’re grateful to be in a position to help others,” says Katie Murillo, Owner at El Rey Azteca. “As a small business we can position ourselves to make it easier to give back as not just a business, but get the community involved. Our customers are excited and looking forward to spending the day with us!”
Customers can come in on August 27th or September 10th, 2018 to help El Rey Azteca raise money. All they have to do is order their favorite foods and drinks, and 10% of their bill will go straight to the charities. No gimmicks. It’s that straightforward.
“We’ve been so grateful for the outpouring of support from our community,” said Memo Murillo, the other Owner at El Rey Azteca. “We wanted to give back in a big way and thought this was the perfect way to do it. Our customers just have to visit us on either Monday and we will make the contributions!”

About The Keith Edmonds Foundation:
The Keith Edmonds Foundation hosts special activities for children of abuse and neglect. Once a month, the foundation will bring these children, their peers, and mentors together to help uplift and motivate the victims. Their goal is to transition these young children into survivors while allowing three to thrive and achieve confidence.

A non-profit counseling center, Lantern Lane Farms is located just outside of Nashville, Tennessee.
