MOU Will Drive Go-To-Market and Broader Adoption of SocialChains
SocialChains, the world’s safest social media, today announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GITAM University, one of the top ranked universities in South India and based in Vishakapatnam, Hyderabad, and Bangalore, to develop programs for the adoption of SocialChains’ platform across GITAM’s 3 campuses and 20,000 students and faculty.
The MOU calls for GITAM business school students to develop go-to-market plans across campus and beyond for SocialChains, as well as develop suitable revenue models that do not exploit user data. A key intent of these programs is to make SocialChains the de factor communications platform across the university’s three campuses. In addition, SocialChains and GITAM will explore joint R&D activities involving computer science and engineering (CSE) students and any other activites that may benefit both parties. GITAM’s CSE department has 5,000 students enrolled in its programs.
“Working with GITAM’s students and faculty will give SocialChains an excellent opportunity to create and drive adoption of our platform among youth and universities in India,” says Srini Katta, Founder, Chainman and CEO of SocialChains. “Further, the students will help customize our revenue models for the Indian market, and then assist in their deployment”, he added.
