A sport enthusiast has launched an e-commerce website offering different types of sports mom fan apparel things like shirts, mugs, pins, hats and stickers. The website known as My Favorite Player features different sports apparel that moms can wear when attending sporting activities for their kids to show support. It motivates the young ones who are interested in sports to work towards their dreams of becoming rock star athletes. Some have been branded using customized names and a personalized message to the young one.
While speaking about the idea behind the e-commerce platform, the founder of the platform Dean Iodice indicated that parents should be the children’s greatest fans when it comes to sports.
“My story behind it was that I was a child athlete but never had my parents support because they didn’t like sports. So I ended up going to my games with my friends parents,” says Dean. “As a child that’s sits with you for a long time and messes with your head. I have a son now and attend every game, evert practice, every private training. My wife and I are his biggest fans. We wear fan gear to support him and he loves it, it makes him feel special. I think more kids should experience that.”
Apart from the sports apparel, the e-commerce website also has a blog section that contains information on how parents can be instrumental in the growth of their young one’s talent. The tips offered will help the parent make an assessment whether they are supporting the talents of their kids and how they can easily do it.
The website will also be featuring different customized products in the near future such as the sports trading cards with the photos of the kids on them. During the forthcoming Christmas season, they will release gift boxes as well.

Dean Iodice was born in Bronx, NY and grew up in a single parent home. He was never exposed to sports as a young child since her single mom did not like sports. He loved playing basketball and dodgeball in gym class. Later in junior high school, he started playing roller hockey and ice hockey for the school. Competing in the sports and becoming part of the team was exciting for him. Whenever he would look in the stands at the game, he would see dads and moms cheering their kids on the team but the sad thing is that Iodice would not see his mom. Since her mom did not like sports at all, she never made any appearance in the sporting activities. This stuck with him for a long time. When his son was born, he decided to be the greatest cheerleaders by always attending his sporting activities.
