Unique, extraordinary, brilliant and out of the box, are just some words to describe Ms. Susan Kohler. With over 3 decades of professional experience in the entertainment industry, this outstanding professional has wore many hats and has certainly proven herself as an accomplished entertainer and expert in many fields. As a dynamic, results-driven leader, Susan has demonstrated success not only as a Singer, Songwriter, Actress, Author & Director but also as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Susan earned her Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Arizona State University and completed a Clinical Fellowship at the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf. Susan has worked “in the trenches” primarily with the elderly population in hospitals, home and Adult Day Health Care settings for over 15 years and has worked as a Director of Clinical Programs and Rehabilitation Services Coordinator, in addition to duties as a Speech Pathologist. With her long resume of credits in television, film, stage and recording, Susan would bring her fellow artist friends to perform, or simply just talk to the patients and residents of the facility and she saw amazing responses from these lifeless, withdrawn individuals who became stimulated with positive experiences of communication, engaged with “human connection.”

Throughout her illustrious career Susan has received awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. For 2019 she is being considered for a feature in TIP (Top Industry Professional) Magazine and was selected as Top Entertainer of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). She is also being considered for the Empowered Woman of the Year Award. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, and Actors’ Equity Association.
Aside from her successful career, Susan is a sought after lecturer, trainer, public speaker and published author. She has been invited to speak about her experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia and her book which is entitled “How to Communicate with Alzheimer’s.” It is a practical guide and workbook for families that shows how to connect with loved ones who have Alzheimer’s dementia, confusion and memory loss.
Looking back, Susan attributes her success to her perseverance, mentors she has had along the way, the musical influences she has had in her life and staying passionate in all her endeavors. When not working, she enjoys traveling, and spending time with her family. For the future, she will to continue to make a difference in people’s lives any way she can.
